Black Comb and Face Marans

I just found an older picture of Mally, my "Midnight Majesty Marans" (aka hatchery named Marans mix) whenever she was younger. Her wattles and comb both turned red as she started to lay. Her face remained a more grayish/black. Her skin color was very similar to yours as a young pullet. I know they're not the same breed, but their skin color looks similar, in my opinion. I'll keep looking and if I find pictures of Mally's chick days, I'll share them. I imagine she's around 25 weeks old here, but I may be wrong. I know that she was a fairly new layer at this time.

Yes, I can see it! Thanks for that. Every day mines has comb growth. It's still grey. Pink is showing up slightly on her face and wattles. I noticed that her sister has a pink comb but there's grey areas as well. Blue Cuckoo Marans with no Barring and special combs. And I got then BOGO. Lol

Crazy comb development. It's like a tiny pea comb attached to a single comb at the top of the head. Lol she's squatting now. I'm wondering if the egg will be green. Maybe an Olive egger??
