Aren't shipped hatching eggs fun? I personally think it sucks, I bought a ton of eggs and wasted a lot of money trying to get chicks out of expensive shipped eggs, too many variables for me. All said in total I ended up with some chicks that cost $ 15 - 35 bucks a piece, it's expensive, it's frustrating and it sucks.
I paid $100.00 for my hens late last year, they are 10 month old Wade Jeane black coppers that are laying some really nice eggs, a firm 5 7. I am hatching 7-10 chicks a week out of them, I already held a bunch back for my breeding flock for next years season so I have decided to start selling the extra chicks.
I have 5 shipments of 12+ chicks able to go out starting this week. I am selling the chicks for $120.00 per shipment and actual next day postage, so for around $10 per chick you are GUARANTEED a small flock of Wade Jeanne Black Copper Marans not hoping and praying with fingers crossed that you might end up with some.
