Chickiesmommy, looks like we're in the same boat! My little Pat the BCM hatched on St. Patrick's day, along with her bator-mate Lou, the American Bresse. Two weeks old today. Dying to know whether it's Patsy and Louise or Patrick and Lucifer.

I need a roo, and either of these are likely to be handsome fellas. But two roos might be a roo too many for my four hens.

Any guesses? Bonus points for guessing Lou's gender!

Promise to keep y'all posted on their development!

they are too young to tell. my chicks with such tails at that age were girls.

Thanks chickengr! Fingers crossed. They both had feathery little tails by 5 days. Little Pat sure does have a comb on her though. And as of this morning it's looking like wattles too. At just 15 days.

Time will tell!
