Blood ( I think ) in chicks poo

Do I just treat all of them because it might take a while to figure out who it’s coming from. Is it safe to treat. It’s weird because I gave the medicated feed for a certain amount of time to try to prevent this but they actually just got off their medicated feed recently
Yes..treat all chickens.
Make sure this treated waterer is the only water they have available to drink.

Mix 2 teaspoons of the liquid Corid with a gallon of water.
Mix a new batch of water every 24 hours.
Give them this ^ for 5 days.
Then after those 5 days mix 1/2 teaspoon with a gallon of water and give them this lower dose for one week.

Oh OK great. That Way I can get it to her quicker because nothing is close to me. Unfortunately I just left because my dogs vet is leaving early today and I have to get her prescription today. So should I just treat all of them instead of having to wait till I find the chicken that pooped that. What it be safe to treat all of them anyway
Yes..it is very safe to treat them even if you are not 100% sure they have Coccidiosis.
Just be sure to have only this mixture of water available and do not give any vitamin supplements until after you finish the treatment.

If one is showing signs they all probably will be showing signs soon.
Treat them all before it gets bad.

OK. I get another silly question but I know those 10 little girls are not going to drink a whole gallon because it is cold outside. So none of my chickens are drinking a ton of water right now. Do they need that amount or is that just the dilution? And they are in a separate’s mini run inside The run with my chickens. So my chickens can’t get to them because their butt heads. Just getting them warmed up to each other kind of thing. The small coop is there is to use at night but then in the morning I close the door that they get through off and open it too my chickens Until I let them out to free range around noon. As soon as I get back from getting her prescription I will go and get it to them.

It's just the dilution.
If all of your birds share the same waterer it won't hurt to treat them ALL.

No they don’t all share the same water. That’s why I have the little mini run and coop in there. That’s where I keep little ones when I get them to get them introduced. So the chickens don’t have access to each other or each other’s food water. I just didn’t know if I should go ahead and treat the big ones. They don’t have access to each other but I guess it would be safe to anyway

I would treat ALL.
It won't hurt.

OK. I’m just leaving the vet so I should be getting home in 30 minutes. Like I said nothing is close to me. This is the first I’ve seen of the poo in question do you think everyone’s going to be OK? I’ve heard terrible stories about the stuff. I’m also not used to chicken problems I’ve been very lucky over the years to only have dealt with prolapse. That was no fun but we got through it but other than that I’ve had healthy chickens for years. Feel as though I’ve been lucky. Just so young

Were/Are you trying to say that you dont have enough chickens for them to drink a gallon of water?

Sorry to jump in but I caught that in your post and just wanted to make sure. What the others are saying is that "the amount to mix" is just the formula for one gallon. Just break it down as to how much Corid you need, etc. 1/2 a gallon = half as much, etc.

I would just make a gallon and add it to all of your fowls water containers "fresh" and let them drink it until its all gone. if a gallon is too much then just refill the containers once they need water again with what you have left over from the gallon you made earlier, etc

I would also make another one gallon once they finish that and make it about half as strong and give it to them as an after treatment. You can use corid also as a preventative at different times throughout the year.

Cocci is very bad and can/will spread and possibly kill every bird you have so its best to start this now. Use the stuff you have and get them on it.

Yes I am almost home and I have it at my house so I am giving it to them right away. I’m in Virginia it is is unseasonably cold. It’s been in the 30s at night and fairly chilly during the day a lot colder than ever is in April. It’s extremely rare for us to get snow in April and we’ve already gotten three snows. There’s 10 girls are so small that’s why they wouldn’t take a gallon of water a day and as far as my other Chickens there’s only nine of them. The only time I’ve seen the nine drinking entire gallon of water is In the summer. I had found out that it is just the dilution. Which I figured but I wanted to check
