Bloody Hens Help !!

I have 2 Bronze heritage hens and I am keeping them in a small barn. They are almost 10 months old. They were raised together and are very tame. One hen layed 3 eggs so far but, yesterday they started fighting and acting like a toms. I separated them with wire and tonight I found them dripping blood from the head. They were picking each other through the wire !! Can somebody explain to me why i'ts happening and how can I stop that ??? Will they be friend again ?

There was just a post on here like this a few weeks ago. Someone said it is because the other one wants the nest, and they gave them both some eggs to sit on and they were fine. Try to find that post if you can. I dont remember the details.......
