Oh dear! and I was almost certain this bird was a hen, luckily I didn't bet any money on it!
I would still wait until he gets all his roo feathers and at least crows before getting rid though as he will look better and you might have more chance of somebody wanting him as he will be a handsome bird.

I would think he does have some BLRW in him, but probably got crossed up with something else. Yes, there are definite pointies in those hackles in this new picture. That is too bad. Post him on Craiglist and you can get at least $7, maybe $10 if someone is just looking for a handsome roo (which he will be when he fills out), they may take him.
