Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

Walmart was a big fat zero for egg crafting supplies. I would recommend Michael's. They have awesome rub-ons, bead caps, and just about everything else. I'm up to 54 eggs and can't seem to stop!

Yeah, but now that I'm excited I want to go and get them tonight! And Michael's isn't open when I get off work...which is now.

Well, you can get the spray sealer at Walmart, and some gold spray paint to lightly 'fleck' some of the eggs before decorating. You can also pick up some bamboo skewers there. I love Wally World.

I have been blowing eggs for my mom for 40 years. She has an egg obsession lol. About a year ago I figured out the syringe method. I can't get mine to pierce the shell though. I use a sharp tipped paring knife as a drill. I love the perfectly round small hole it makes. I have had shells fail when I forced the air in too fast.

My mom was shocked when I started giving her blown eggs with one very small hole. I didn't want to tell her my secret.

I found some rub-ons that aren't very Christmas-ey, but that I really liked none-the-less. I am really pleased with how they turned out.

Thanks for all the ideas! I know what to do for the in-laws Christmas gifts now. They all think I'm crazy for having chickens and loving them, so I'll give them and egg ornament to confirm it! LOL!!!
