Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

Okie the glitter butterfly rub ones are exactly how they were when I got them. I did buy some others that went on real easy but then wouldn't stay on. All of them peeled right back off. Will not use them again. I did have one butterfly in the pic. to wrinkle up a little but I just kept rubbing to smooth it out and if you don't look too close you can't see it. I really liked the glitter butterflies and just ordered more from oriental trading since they worked so well.

I used 3 walmart white eggs. One exploaded in the microwave and one crushed under the pressure of me applying the rub on. Only one survived but looks good I think.

I was afraid of that....I'm not really able to buy any of them already blown out...so if they are going to be done, I gotta do it with the ones I have, and right now I have the ucky eggs

I had to backtrack though a few pages to catch up, so I just wanted to say, more great looking eggs everyone!

Love that hummingbird one, so pretty! Did you use glitter glue or just that spray on glitter? Makes the ornaments look even better

Love the egg pics Kansaseq and algopurple!

algopurple - I love the eggs w/ black floral patterns! Those are rub-ons too?

More good ideas...now I just need more free time.

Ok, went to Walmart last night and they informed me that they got rid of the craft section! Needless to say I didn't get anything there. Went to Michael's this afternoon and was quite disappointed with their selection...not many rub ons to choose from. I did get my other supplies there and 2 packs of rub ons to start with while I'm waiting for the ones I ordered online to come in. I also got some spray sealant instead of the mod podge that you have to paint on...has anyone used this with success? They also have the most adorable x-mas tins that are the perfect size to put an egg ornament in for a gift! And they're $1 each! So I bought 10 of those to start with and will see how I like them. Just wanted to share.

I have thought of the tattoos but not tried it. I have also wondered if some paper stickers would work. Miss Prissy, the one that inspired so many of us that are doing this, said they didn't work cuz of the plastic they were made of but some stickers are still made of paper and I was wondering if anyone had tried them. They are way cheaper than rub ons and 10 times or more the selection than rub ons.
