Ok I've gotten started. I busted three eggs while blowing them out, then busted one while decorating it

but I think i've got the hang of it now!

I had much better luck drawing out the egg contents into the syringe, rather than blowing them out. The needle does get plugged, but you just have to unplug it.

I'm about to get started...we usually eat a dozen eggs for breakfast so I will have a few to start with if any break. I don't have a syringe with a needle, but I do have a syringe without one. I am going to try poking holes in them with a sewing needle, and then using the needle-less syringe to draw out the egg. (Then put them in a tupperware like dish till tomorrow morning.) Better to do it now, than when I am trying to feed a bunch of ravenous children.

Okie I guess this might be too late since you said you were going to do your eggs last night but for next time. If you use a thumb tack to make the holes it is much easier than using a really skinny sewing needle. I use the kind that has the big plastic handle. It is easier to get a grip on and the pin part is a lot shorter so it slips less and does not bend like a long needle could.
My mother told me last night that she is going to start making fruit cake and will need a dozen eggs. I am going to blow them out today or tomorrow and let her use them. That way she has to give me a little!

Most people make fun of fruit cake but my mothers is awesome! Now I have an excuse to blow LOTS of eggs!

Wouldn't that get expensive after awhile?

I have heard of some people using an air compressor set at a really low setting so not to expload the egg.
