What pretty birds! All I have for now are the Mille Fluers. Still waiting for that first egg from my only pullet. She is almost 10 months old.

Does anyone know how I could've gotten a booted bantam out of a bunch of hatchery D'uccle chicks? I had a booted pullet but sadly something went wrong with her and she passed away.

That is how I got my booted bantam. I ordered 4 D'uccle chicks, and got a trio of D'uccles, and a booted bantam.

I got eight out if a hatchery choice bantam mix. I also ended up with a cubalaya(??) bantam, a campine rooster bantam, 3 Mille Fluer Roos, 4 Mille Fluer pullets, and 1 booted Millie Fluer pullet.

[/IMG] Mrs. Poot About 90% of the Sablepoot in the US are genetic throwbacks from the founding breeding of Duccle. My two are from a friends show birds. The trick is for them to not only be beardless but to have the proper cariage. More upright and narrow than a Duccle. Mine do. I plan on seperating my pair and breeding them this Spring.
