Border Collie Appreciation Thread!!!!

This made me laugh because it's exactly the reason I love them. They're SO ready to do everything at maximum speed. I haven't entered Nami into any real agility competitions because she's too young, but when she's grown enough, we're going to start. I don't really care about winning, but I know she'll have a blast since she's such a bundle of energy and pure focus.

When we were visiting Scotland we saw two real hard working BCs. We were sitting on the side of the road trying to figure out a road map. We noticed a farmer stopping his small pickup and two BCs hopped out of the back. They looked at him, he waved his arm and they both bounded over the stone wall and up a steep hill at full speed. At the top of the hill the dogs stopped, the farmer whistled and drove away. We were trying to figure out why the farmer left his dogs behind. Then we saw why! Coming over the hill was over a 100 Blackfaced Sheep, their lambs and two very smart BCs. They brought the flock half way down the hill then turned them and headed them through an open gate into the next field. We watched as they kept going through the field until they were out of sight. The dogs were fantastic!!!
