My camera's on the frtiz right now so I can't get any photos but this machine looks quite similar to those I've seen on the internet. Sits up about waist-high, uses 220V and was told it'll handle up to 10 chickens at a time depending on size of the birds.

A buddy of mine who raises about 60,000 birds at a time uses the same machine at his place when they're dressing birds for sale. Told me he's going to buy another he's so pleased with the first one. It's an import from China, probably a copy of someone else's machine.

Anyway, I'm in the process of expanding the area where I butcher the birds and am also installing a walk-in cooler. We've got a number of good clients for dressed birds but just can't keep up with the work doing the plucking by hand and trying to sell dressed birds from here at the house as well.

I think that once I've got all the kinks out, I'll be able to process 150 - 200 birds in just a few hours time.

Where did you get it and how much was it ?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Bought it about an hour's drive from here in a small town chinese market. BTW, I'm not based in the US, I'm in Venezuela. The cost, depending on whether someone uses the official exchange rate or the black market rate would be $2615 and $567 respectively. Obviously, if one can exchange dollars on the black market, the cost improves significantly.

Once it's up and running I'll get some pics and also give some details on its operation. I don't have any doubts that it'll fit the bill. As mentioned previously, a buddy owns one and they process thousands of chickens in just a few days.
