I just introduced our new kitten Bug to his very first scratching post, catnip imbedded. He got himself a snoot full.

Now he's doing laps in our porcelain tub.

Hoping he'll pass out soon.

Now he's an addict. Just wait till 4am.

Impy

btw- Do not leave the catnip anywhere he can get to it. He will chew through a wood door to get to it.

Bug was well on his way to suffering the same fate as Kitty, i.e., he was scratching the new furniture and Keith wasn't happy. Unfortunately the litter box is in the bathroom, there's no other place for it in this small house, so I can't close the door to keep him out.

Oops, he tired of the bathtub and is now terrorizing KiKi the siamese.

Kitty is one of those rare cats that is not affected by catnap; unfortunately, she could use some mellowing out.

Yes, the mental images! Cats somehow are just amusing. Cats and me don't mix but I still love watching them...

I grow catnip in my herb garden. My kitties ignore the dry stuff, but go nutso over the fresh stuff. They act stoned. It is awesome!!!

2 of our cats are addicts too.
Got a scratching toy for them. The worse one has just tore the thing apart. Should see her on the floor rolling on it and scratching at it trying to get the dry catnip.

The other cat likes to roll around in it and eat it.
Missed getting a picture of her hanging upside down from the top of their condo going completely nuts.
