BR roo or pullet?

Hi all! I have some chickens hatched May 17. I had been hoping that my little packing peanut BR was a roo, but never saw any signs of roo-ish behavior or looks (but what do I know??

). Still have never heard any crowing. But then a couple of days ago I suddenly noticed that one of them has a much larger comb than the rest. What do you think? Do I have a roo after all? I'd be happy if I do!

Well, kind of rats.

I figured I had all pullets since I hadn't seen any roo behavior. Also, she is the same color as all of the other girls. Well, I guess she can make me feel better by giving me an egg soon instead.

I guess the search for a roo continues!

I just hatched olive eggers and welsummers, guarantee I have a spare roo in the bunch!

Pullet, for sure. One of the few times I've heard of a packing peanut being female. They seem to always be roosters...
