BR Rooster?

Thank you!!

Any idea about this fake hen crowing? Lol
Are you sure she's trying to crow and not growling? Both of my alpha hens were growlers; it was how they alerted. One stopped when the cockerel matured. The other still growls, on occasion ... and it's weird!

It could have been a growl... i guess the timing threw me off because it was exactly at sunrise. We recently had another pullet that turned out to be a cockerel so I’m on high alert for any similarities.

I have a pullet this year that tries to crow.
She just started laying last week and there are two males here.
She'd try to chime in with the boys when they'd do the morning crow down. :)
Well, now I've read it.

I have a couple of pullets that honk. They sound more like a goose than a chicken. But they don't stretch their neck out or flap their wings, like cockerels do when they are attempting to crow, so I just assume it is ….honking.
I love the 'honking stage', between peeps and clucks...it always cracks me up!
