I didn't update last night because my dear loving daughter was kind enough to share her strep-throat germs with me. I did candle and I can still make out the dark "spot" and viable vessels running all around. I am a bit of a worrier. The longer I look at the egg during candling, the less I can see. I'll candle again tonight and try to photograph it so we can see some details. I'll see you guys tonight then...

Thanks for the healing vibes and the hatching vibes! I really hope I'm able to photograph this egg tonight. I'm gonna do a little reading on taking pics of lit objects in darkness. Any tips are appreciated.

think about the positive .. the strep throat may give you a fever and get the egg closer to 99.5 for a few days

In my mind, your biggest obstacle is temperature. Having a fever would overcome that.
