I just tried to find Spitzhaubens in the 2010 American Standard of Perfection. I couldn't find it and I looked hard. Isn't the A-S recognized by the APA?

No, Apppenzeller Spitzhaubns are not recognized by the APA.

It takes a lot to get a breed accepted. Marans are just now going in.
