Thank you for the info!...It does sound like we don't have enough hens for this rooster...Just gonna have to do something about that!

Got my first egg today! My hatchery quality hen must have heard I ordered show quality eggs, because she squeaked out her first egg today!!! It was pretty good size too and not all pointy and skinny. It was excellent!

It was just a beige tinted plain color. not speckled, not rosy peach colored. Same color more or less as javas and orpingtons.
 
I am looking for some more pullets to add to my coop!...Does anyone know where I can find some LF Dark or Buff Brahma eggs?....I went to Ideal Hatchery and they are already sold out of the buffs...Geesh I guess I was too late!

a much as i dread mentioning this but i've seen someone advertising them on ebay lately. my dh won't let me buy any more hatching eggs so i can't get them.

I am the opposite. I have a couple of Buff pullets and need a rooster. I have a GLW roo to trade if anyone has one.
