I got them from Murray McMurray Hatchery. I sure hope I didn't get Dark Brahmas by mistake. I ordered 11 of the lights. What do you think? No, they don't have a stripe on the back, but my Easter Eggers do have stripes.

They don't really looks like darks to me ... here is a pic of a dark baby

Ok, yeah, it doesn't look like a dark now. I wonder why they have so much black though. All 11 of them are quite dark like that too. We'll see how they turn out.

My brothers hen bites you when you go to tough her. The other brahmas don't do that. Does this happen frequently. she is also very small and sits on the roost all day or until i let her out to free range and then she stays by herself.

These are the Buff brahma chicks I ordered from Welp, all the chicks I have gotten before weren't this dark, any suggestions! They arrived in an order of 30 but got 34 so an extra got mixed up in this pic. I only ordered 5 Buff brahma and they were the only brahma I had in the order. I am referring to the dark butts you see behind this little one in front.

It looks like they ran out of buffs and filled the rest of the order with dark Brahma chicks.

love the attitude on that one in front

Your chicks do not seem to have the darker marking on the back and so-called brown markings as shown on ItsAZOO32 pic of one her chicks, which is definitely a dark brahma chick

Hello everyone! I am just stopping in briefly as I have just listed my 2, yearish old bantam brahmas in the sale section. They are local pick up only, so if you are in Colorado and looking for new blood, have a look! They are both hens, one light and one buff, show quality, not hatchery stock.

Good luck to everyone with chicks. :)
