What Tim says is true. I had one judge fault my bird's size and give them Ch. Feather-legged.
Yesterday was the big cockerel cull. Unfortunately, the smaller boys just didn't have the broad backs, tail spread and heads.... the more substantial cockerels had. I think I culled 15 of 20 cockerels and had to stop there.
I also find that as much as breeders seem to obsess over small tight combs, the judges don't seem to nit-pick nearly as much.
