There are buff laced and gold laced in the pictures. They are around 10-12 weeks at that time. Still feathering out. I got the eggs from Dan Powell the 1st breeder of the birds in the USA and they are an on going work in progress.They are not all perfect but I guess nothing is.

BLB = buff laced blue I think.

They're called Buff laced Brahmas. In my mind I consider them gold laced with white.

I have a Buff Brahma, Buff Orpington mix. He is about 5 weeks old. The design Brahma's usually have around their neck he seems to have all over. Is this common or will his feathers still change. Not that it matters but, I was just curious. Oh yeah, I am not sure if it makes a difference but, I think he is a roo.

Of course, 5 weeks is pretty young though, so he should level out to a more buff color, but most likely still have a lot of black. Especially if it is a boy.

The true Buff coloring is Wheaten based, and Columbian coloring is Partridge based - Those together, muting down the ginger/blacktail and the dun genes of the buff, will show off the Wheaten basing a little more, which means more black pencilling will come in. Your roo may eventually look like this, but with black around the hackle feathers:
