I know this is more than possible. I had a very small blue splash cochin bantam/sliver americana cross (she was very small even for these) hatch out , (I kid you not) 20 eggs in secret! I thought she got carried off, but she showed up in a horse stall with 20 chicks and the chicks were mostly standard sized breeds. I would have never thought it even possible for a bantam of this size to fit that many eggs under her. I wish I could find the pictures of her with these babies. If I do I'll put them up for you to see, but they might be in our storage place, and that's very scary thought!

Anyway, I've stuffed a lot of eggs under a broody hen before and I seems to work good as long they fit under her feathers, just like tuesday chicks said. Good luck with this!

This is my buff brahma roo, Chuck Norris. Below is one of my light brahma hens. What colors will I get from crossing the buff and light brahmas? I have a broody barred rock that is hatching some eggs..some (or most) are from my brahmas. One chick hatched today, I could see feathered legs, kind of a yellowish, tan body with a dark spot on his/her head. I'm still waiting for the other eggs to hatch so I haven't gotten a good look at the chick yet.
