Like you said, such nice heads! Looks like a great addition to the flock.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Babies' first outing - black and blue Brahmas (along with a few partridge and a light Brahma).

Hey Matt - remember the odd little brown one? That's him in the center of the first picture. He looks like a little teddy bear!

I got some test eggs from Sjisty a while ago, had only one hatch out, a girl (

) and at first I thought she was a partridge, did for months, but now she's turning to be a most beautiful blue partridge.

Too bad my only other Brahma around is a hatchery hen.

Already starting to develop a decent brow.

She is a beautiful girl - here are some pics of her relatives.

This may be her mother.

One always needs more Brahmas.

Because she was the only one that hatched,

I don't have kids but that chick gave me an idea of what it is like to have a baby. Man that little girl couldn't live a second of her life without me.

Her parents are very nice, always nice to see those pics again. She's slowly growing, as a Brahma would, but already the size of my Araucanas. I can't wait to see if she will grow as big or bigger as my enormous Sussex hens.
