Brain Freeze! ETA: It's Finished! Final Pics

Wondered where you were, Kathryn! I started on the quilt tonight using hunter green and I think and it looks good. I may use gold metallic in the black floral border. I didn't make it to the quilt shop today, even though we went to town, so just grabbed the dark green and on the white parts, it looks pretty good. My stitches had better be pretty good since those will show up really well. It is a pretty pattern, isn't it?

I just showed DH the picture of my quilt. He likes it, he likes it, he likes it!

that is going to to hang on the wall behind my couch in the family room.

I wondered what you planned to do with it, Barbara. I think it will look awesome on your wall! It's really a pretty pattern as well as super nice fabric. I'll probably have it done in a week or so, if I can work on it some every day.

WOW blind as I am I saw it right off the bat. LOL

I like it this way though, but looks like thats a separate strip where the small square is.

OK why wasn't that pic up there before I posted? See............I AM BLIND!

Since it is really Barbara's quilt, I wanted to do it according to the package directions, or I might have gotten lazy and just let it be. That's usually me--I hate undoing mistakes, but in this case, felt I should. At least I noticed it after I'd finished two blocks rather than all nine! I think I'd have laid down and cried, LOL.

ETA: Here is how I'm doing the quilting:

Cynthia, Do you mark your quilting pattern before you quilt? You really do an exceptional job.

Golden, You are so lucky to have this quilt and know you are going to enjoy it every time you look at it!
