This chick was sold to me as a silverlaced Orpington pullet, I thought pullets had a comb, and is it really a pullet?

So far looks like a silver laced wyandotte pullet. It will be easier to tell if it's male or female when it gets a bit older, 2-3 more weeks. Their feathers grow in slightly different patterns but this one is too young for that. The lacing will develop better as (s)he ages.

I have two pullets that are 13 weeks and their combs are just starting to grow in. So if I where you I would repost picture in about a month.

I don’t know about breed but all chickens have a comb. Looks like that chicken is developing one If it is eight weeks I’d say pullet but hard to tell without knowing age it’s hard to tell gender. Even knowing age it’s difficult so young Where did you get the chick?
