I love the deviders, I have my eggs on there side & when you turn the unit ( if you dont have a turner ) the eggs stay in place.. no need to open and turn eggs, just turn the unit, The water does not spill... Greatest thing i have seen yet for those of u with out a turner :)

Can you post a picture of this technique? Turning of the unit?

Another question about the Brinsea Oct 20: I know it holds 24 eggs, but is that really too much for it? Is it best to remove the dividers before lockdown to increase the floor space?

They are not hatch the same time, some of the eggs will not hatch, and not fertilized so wouldn't be a problem. If you are getting shipping eggs, there is a very high chance only few made it.

Yes.. it will hold 24 eggs.. I know people have had high hatch rates, but if I was going to load it all the way, I would have a hatcher... Home Made, or just a used bator.. Last 3 days temps aren't as important (just don't go over 100... It is the humidity. I have my Octagon right now at 75 % RH during lockdown by adding a dish towel under the tray.

My Brisnea came with a Thermometer, and a hatching guide as well..
