So I have a question, I had to move my pullets out to my mud room. Because having them this size (5 weeks) was too much. It’s heated stays around 65-72 and also a heat lamp, a electric space heater of it gets too cold. My question is the ventilation. I can’t open the doors because it’s just still too cold out side. I have a small desk fan I’ll turn on to get circulation. But I just feel like that not enough for them. Any ideas on how to vent that room for fresh air or at least help with the smell and dust control. I clean out their area every 2-3 days and try to spot clean as much as possible. I just don’t want them to get sick.

What is a mud room?

Can you crack the door open and let the fan pull air out of the room instead of blowing air in? Maybe make a fan shroud out of carboard?

Kick them out into the garage or a shed. They are almost ready to go out without heat.

What’s considered to cold
I had quail chicks and chicken chicks in the barn under heat lamp down into the teens.
OP it would be helpful if you listed your general location.

Garage is full of cars and such, and the coop will be built within the next 2 weeks, so they are stuck inside

Mud room is a room off my kitchen where you keep coats and boots. Lol
