My chicks are having there first night at new home <3. I wanna wake one up and play with it though...

I know the feeling... when mine came home, I practically held them all day... it probably would have been better too let them settle in... but they are just so cute!

Hey is your waterer leaking? I got that same one, checked all the seals, but it leans back slightly at the cup and drained completely for me.. wondering what you did differently.

Love the popsicle stick lift for the waterer! And I don’t think I’ve seen a waterer like that before, looks pretty neat!

I'm getting my first ever chickens tommrow morning!!!! So excited! I just set up my brooder! Sorry if the picture is blurry at all. Any thoughts questions or opinions?

Down below is the temporary egg carton feeder, next to it is the water, and lastly is the brooder plate. 2 inches of bedding/shavings

Yes it did leak. It's supposed to be attached to a cage but I just moved around the pine shavings so it didnt slant

My chicks are under the brooder and peeping loudly, normal? They can touch the brooder

They are a bit nervous at the moment- soon they will pluck up the confidence to explore the brooder
