We started out with a 24 in. x 36 in. playpen in the basement but after 2 weeks with 20 babies, it was getting a little crowded. So sweetly I asked my DH, he agreed to help me build something just a tad bit bigger. This new one is 4 ft x 6 ft and think it will hold then all until the are ready for the Coop.

I tell Laci to lets go see the "Girls" and she tears off for the workshop door.

Plenty of room to grow in to.

They are now 2 weeks old and I think they are enjoying their new digs

Good luck with yours. We thought for sure the playpen would work out for awhile, could have split them into (2) playpens but they are used to each other and didn't want any problems when they finally go to their coop.

Here is our current one holding Puff n' Stuff, our month old silkies!

You can just see the baby brooder to the left, Mamala, a 3 day old buff silkie, is in there gaining strength(born weak)...
