Our brooder that Tyler made out of scraps from our coop. Just a large rectangle with a lid that is vented with wire. Works great!

And the little chicks inside! We got 4 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Barred Rocks, and 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes

After reading and looking at all 63 pages, I have a teensy question for you all: is the stink situation better with wood/cardboard and worse with the plastic bin? Or it doesn't matter, it's gonna be stinky anyway?

I'm leaning towards the plastic.....
