I have had similar experiances. For ex, I went to the feed store and bought the most expensive seeds. I spread them on the ground, only to see my hens strut around the seeds and eat the grass.Once I gave my baby chicken Kiella some bugs to eat that I catched. I know right!! Like they always eat grass, but some days ago I gave them coriander I grew on my own.. They literally ignored it and just ate grass -I have had similar experiances.
