My little broody bantam cochin/polish Lisa Marie

Lisa Marie with her little d'Uccle/Sultan chicks born this week

Lisa Marie with Patty, her first chick w/ a Polish roo. She is such a good mom, this little chick survived a flash flood that quickly dumped 2 feet of water in the coop during Tropical Storm Fay just 2 weeks after she hatched. She ran out with her little chick to high ground and waited in the rain until we could rescue them!

I will try and get some pictures of my broody buff Jap. She's been so determine to hatch something - she kept sitting on all of the other girls' eggs and would be so upset with me when I would take the eggs. She completely stopped laying which caused my other buff Jap (that isn't broody) to stop laying.

Anyways, she's foster sitting on 6 eggs that are from a friend of mine down the road. I'm not sure if she'll have much luck, but if she does, then we ought to see some fluffer butts around May 2nd.
