Broody Hen has gotten of eggs on day 3 (5-12 eggs hatched)

No all of the 12 eggs where bought from the same seller on Ebay and where all placed in the nest after 24 hours had passed. Also none of my other hens can get in the nest box, as I moved them to another chicken house, because they all like that one nest box for their eggs and the broody hen did like them try to get in the nest box.

I'll wait a 3 day or more and see what happens.

I've candled them, 3 of them look fully developed, I can hear peeping from many two of them and 1 look like its got nothing in the egg. no egg has piped yet.
So you're hatching shipped eggs? That could explain your low hatch rate. Three more days should give them a chance if they're going to hatch. I would suggest disposing of the one that doesn't look like it has anything in it. You don't want to take a chance on that exploding. Maybe check out the Hands On Hatching and Help thread to see if it would be beneficial to help the ones that are peeping.

Very true but 6 out 12 is pretty good, well better than my last 3 hatches.

I'll leave them in until the 24 day night and than candled them again.

I remove it to night, as it too light at the moment.

Yes I read a lot of the help on the forum and other sites too. I may make a pip hole for the chicks later on. But I don't think that my mum will let me do it.

I candled the 6 eggs last night and only one egg has a chick in, the rest of the eggs has nothing in the in the them or where die.

The egg the has the chick is fully developed and the chick in side if the egg look like is covers the hole in side of the egg, including the air sack.

So I when to make a pipe hole and to peel some of the shell from the egg not breaking the egg's membrane to see what has happened in the egg. When I broke the shell, it went bang and a big piece of the shell came off, it was a rotten egg.

Just for future info-----Your Nose should have warned you of that before you attempted it----Yuk!!

There was no smell or cracks in the shell of the egg. It was too perfect, if I'd known it was rotten one I would have just gotten rid of it. Yes it was yuck and gross, but I am also glad that it didn't go off in my egg incubator.
