Is it possible to help make a hen duck go broody if you separate her from the other ducks with her eggs on a separate pen? But where she can still see the other ducks.

I know it is hormones but she seems to want to sit on them but also wants to be with the others. She always wonders off with them but comes back to check on the eggs often. So I was thinking if maybe I put her in a small pen by herself she would sit on her eggs.Nope it's hormones lol
I only have four adult ducks and four ducklings at the moment.I had a non-broody duck lay 2 eggs, and a bantam hatched them, they thought she was mom, and even when the ducks were adults they would bow to her in respect.
She has about 20-22 eggs.Duck Hens take days to get Broody and are not Chickens so possibly she is Broody but won't set till she has enough eggs in her clutch..Locking her up won't help because she will stress trying to get back with the flock... Wait and see if she commits to setting...![]()
Breed?...She has about 20-22 eggs.
