I slipped her 4 pipped eggs last Saturday & she hatched them. Then about 3 days after the hatch I slipped her another chick & she accepted it.

They are Silkie Cochins...aren't they cute!!

Yes, Lila is a very proud momma! She's really into it....

I have a few other hens that are getting into it too, they are sitting in the boxes & laying on eggs.....I think this will be a very busy summer with lots of baby chicks!
