Broody silkie in December

I have a broody silkie in my coop. Her name is casper. She made her nest behind the coop heater. We can't take out the heater or it's to cold for my birds. They are all warm weather birds seeing that we live in Maryland. I need her to stop brooding. Any ideas?

A broody breaker cage is where the hen is caged with air circulation underneath. An elevated wire cage works well. I have not used one so someone else can provide details if needed. I was able to break my December broody silky by removing eggs and blocking access to the spot. Is there anyway you can block her out of the nest? If not you may need to cage her.

Yardmom described it well. If there's room inside the coop to put her in an elevated wire cage away from her desired nest spot, that will keep her from sitting on her nest + allow cooler air under her belly to help break her of broodiness.
