Relatively easy is an understatement just need to have 1 male and 1 female and give them a nest and they multiply faster than rabbits

I started with 1 female and 2 males. Currently 13!!!! And I sold 6 babies to be hand raised. Several losses due to shortage of nests!

Well how come my one's didn't breed then!!!?? I even had them in a largish outdoor aviary. The stupid things used up all their energy by yelling at each other whilst they were no more than an inch apart. They's sure must have some tough old eardrums.
They were definitely male and female.
Perhaps the male was gay or something..

Well technically yes.

Muddy, I thought with the hybrids that are produced, you can't always count on the cere color to tell you sex?

mine have all been dead on once they are a few months old. and the females’ have been brown when they are fighting over nests.
