Buff Brahma 2 day old chicks

I hatched out 4 buff brahma. I am wondering if color of the down has anything to do with sex. I have 3 uniform babies and one that is much darker. Has anyone every guessed the sex on the coloring of newborns and get it right? I am just wondering. I don't care if they are all roos. I love my brahmas especially the roos.

Colouring has nothing to do with the sex unless they’re sex link chicks which they are not, guess you have to wait until they are about 8-10 weeks, have fun and good luck with them!

I did not think so. I raise brahmas and WCBP. I have never been able to tell the sex by coloring. It makes no difference if they are boys or girls. they are all pets and some produce breakfast for us
