Lucky! My Australorps and bantams go broody every year, so it makes up for my BO's lack of broodiness
Yeah, she went broody before a year old even and then one year she literally went broody like at least five times from like April till the fall I think or maybe summer. And that was just since April. She went broody I think once or twice more before that. And if she went broody again in the spring I was gonna let her hatch but then I lost her that fall 😭 that was a couple years ago now. She was soooooo sweet too.

The cockerel was from my flock, but I bought the pullet.

This is an Orpington:

Not whatever this is:

It looks like a before and after comparison of someone letting the air out of their Orpington :gig

I do love silver duckwing, though. Crele and silver laced are pretty cool too.

Silver duckwing is my absolute favorite, especially for hens. I love the variations of SDW, too, like Fawn SDW and Blue SDW. 😍 So gorgeous!

Then you don’t like real Orps. I wouldn’t care so much about hatchery Orps if they weren’t Orps. Orps are supposed to be floofy period.
I guess that makes sense. Idk. I like some of the “real” Orps but that one just looks weird. There’s ones that are less extreme that I like better. But if I wanted that look, I may as well just get a Cochin 😂
