I am getting a pair of geese this spring. I'm deciding mostly between Buff and Tufted Buff. My kid is going to be showing it, but my county is so laid-back it won't matter. What are the advantages. Metzers states that the Buff are very calm, while tufted are just calm. They also say that Buff are slightly heavier and lay slightly more eggs. Tufted obviously have the cool tuft. They are the same price.
