Bugs & Problems With The New Platform

I am automatically being subscribed to every post I reply too. Others can't subscribe to threads. Is there any way to edit settings or something so I can pick instead of automatically being subscribed? Thanks!

Does the new platform use a different font set from the old platform? I'm noticing some peoples pages have nearly unreadable fonts, and I suspect it could be an issue of the new platform substituting different fonts.

There are a lot of problems with the BST sections. There are only listings in the 8 weeks+ and other poultry section, besides the 16+ pages in the archives. And in none of the sections is there a place to start a new listing. This is what all the sections look like:

In your profile under "Edit account details" scroll down to "Email preferences" and there you can edit how you get subscribed:

There you can also click where it says "edit subscriptions" and you get a list of all the threads/articles/profiles you are subscribed to and you can set the frequency of notifications. I have all mine set to "Site only, no email" so my email doesn't get flooded with emails.

may not seem like much but it's not something I can fix myself, and when I logged in I typed :what's kickin' chicken no (?) forgot, was able to login lol

I have no drop down tools from the top tabs and I am not getting e-mails from my subscriptions. I went in and updated them, but no e-mail notification. I am running on IE8.

Visit the edit subscriptions page to prune and customize your updates.
Want to stop all subscription email? Set ALL Subscriptions to Site Only.
Set new subscriptions to: ImmediateDaily DigestWeekly DigestSite Only (No Email)Don't SubscribeAutomatic by default (?)
Notify me by email when another user messages me.(?)
Receive BackYard Chickens Email Newsletters(?)

With the new format the personal pages seem to be split into multiple "articles" rather than linked on a single "main personal page" and most need to be edited because of display changes. It would be helpful if I could delete my old pages and create a new "all in one page". BUT, I can't find a way to delete my pages/articles. Is there a way to delete your own personal pages/articles?

Not a really important issue and I understand there are many, many more important issues to work out first

YES PLEASE, that would be awesome for those of us who do a lot of swapping, selling, and trading. That would be soooooo much nicer and easier. Thank you for bringing this up.

"It" brought all of my PMs over from the old BYC and I do mean ALL; even ones deleted long ago. At first it let me "select all" and delete, but now it won't let me. I am working through pages and pages of PMs trying to delete them individually. That could take a week or so.

There used to be a link to a members page on the right of their posts, with their handle, avatar, etc.
There are various links under the handle (hover over the handle to see it) including a link to their profile, but not to their member page (or to the new "my chickens" page).
Can that be added back?
