Bugs & Problems With The New Platform

Is there any other way to use BYC on a Blackberry without Tapatalk? I don't want to pay for a down load that will be with my current phone, but if I get a different phone I won't have. I'm up for a new phone soon and I'm not sure which type of Smart Phone I will get. I can read on the Blackberry, but not reply (or do any submitting for that matter). My screen states "The rich Text Editor is not compatible with your browser. You may see some HTML source displayed. Any BBCode you enter will be converted to HTML when you save."
That doesn't seem to be my problem. Is the submit button linked to Java? In the old system I couldn't make BYC pages from my phone because of the Java. (I do have Java enabled on my phone) I have a curve 9330.

Thanks for all of your hard work.

Have you tried opera mini?

Okay, thought I'd add my two cents worth to this thread.

Last night I navigated through this new platform for 4 hours from my laptop.
I was frustrated, unhappy, and somewhat confused with all of the bells and whistles.
By 1:00am I had enough and went to bed.

I just logged on today (on a pc) with absolute ease (an improvement !)
I was able to find everything I needed including my old emails, and how to upload photos- It was easy!
I like going to the newest postings first before reading my subscribed threads- again...easy with buttons at the top, and bottom
of each page.

It is getting better. I have the latest version Firefox installed. Ha, I got some sleep, and my pc is behaving better than my laptop.
These are circumstances I can control. I like the options in postin

a reply, and now I'm starting to have a little fun

I just have a few "bugs" to consider changing.
  • Dim down the stark white background, and make it easier on the eyes.
  • Right click ability to cut; copy; paste.
  • Right click ability to correct my spelling.

Thanks!

in any situation where standard right click doesn't do what it used to, try ctrl/cmd + right click.

(thanks to the Peep who posted that in another thread earlier, I don't remember who it was)

You can also go back and try again.

Ok this is the error I get when I log on every time and when I refresh it is still there and this is the homepage. This is what I see on the homepage where the pics are supposed to be. What do I need to do?

This isn't a "bug" but its something I'm hoping can be changed....yesterday I noticed I was subscribed to a couple of threads I hadn't subscribed to, but which I HAD posted a reply to. I deleted my subscription with a kind of "humph...that's weird" feeling but didn't give it another thought.

Just now I replied to a thread but before hitting submit, I scrolled down the page and noticed something. Under the reply box, there is a subscription box and it was set to "daily digest". I realized that as soon as I hit reply, I was going to be subscribed to the thread. I had to go over and change the setting to "don't subscribe" in order to not be subscribed to the thread.

I'm sure most people don't want to automatically subscribe to any thread they post a reply to. Can this be set to a default setting of "don't subscribe" and allow people to manually subscribe to threads when they want to, just like on the old platform?

Ooops, just did it again. Hit submit and realized I didn't first change it to "don't subscribe". I guess I need to go in and delete a bunch more subscriptions since I've responded to quite a few posts between yesterday and today.
