Bugs & Problems With The New Platform

I don't think that's a problem with the platform here. There are keys on the keyboard that cause what you're typing to get erased, but that's the keyboard, not the website. I'ts happened to me in Word and in emails. It's just the keyboard.

I tend to type VERY fast and very messily! I do a lot of keyboard commands and keyboard combos. The problem is that sometimes I fat-finger and do something that makes me navigate from the page. If I'm in the middle of writing something it is often lost.

I've got a project ticket request into the developers to set the system so that if you have text in the editor and try to navigate away from the page, it will pop-up a "are you sure you want to loose what you've typed" message.

It isn't super high on the priority list, but it is a feature I'd LOVE to see!

I have been noticing that the site has been fairly slow for me as well. I can't scroll or click links until all the ads have loaded, and there are quite a few of them. They take the longest to load. Everything on my computer has been updated and I've found the same result on about five different computers using different internet services.

Also, it seems that the ads are squishing the main part of the forum over towards the left of the screen. I don't think this is a glitch, but it is kind of annoying as it really limits the amount of forum visible on my screen. I realize ads help the site make money but there are really so many that it is detracting from the forum itself. For the most part I have gotten used to everything else and find it fairly straight forward to use.

The only other thing that I still have not been able to get used to is finding threads that I have posted on. I notice they turn a light pinkish color, but it can be really difficult to see. Again, not really a glitch, but just perhaps a suggestion to look into other options for marking threads we have posted on which is more easily visible, like the dot on the previous forum platform.

I do like many of the new features and I am still learning a lot about the new platform. The sluggishness of the site makes it difficult to browse though.

Have you tried the "I've post" forum ?

I don't spend as much time here as I used to. I usually browse and read posts in the evening while my husband watches some tv. My computer freezes and takes forever to load. I ran virus scans because it is so slow and they don't find anything.
I miss browsing through this site, I find it very frustrating.

Either in the top bar hover over Forums and then slide your mouse to the right most selection, or at the end of the last post, lower right, click "new posts", either way you select "I've Posted".

Tonight, I'm finding the website to be excruciatingly slow. It keeps freezing on me saying the website is trying to run a script.

I can not read most posts . Seems the info is not centered, it is shifted way to far to the right.
