Bumblefoot - Calling All Crunchy Natural Folks

I just went out and took a close look at her - turns out she has a bumble  At least I know how to take care of her now! I will try to get a pic of her from the side while I'm out there - headed back out in a minute to get her.

I haven't tried giving any ducks coconut oil but that sounds like a great idea. They do drink ACV in their water but you can't go wrong with good a good fat that boosts the body's defenses.

We don't mind the coconut oil in our coffee at all - as long as it's blended in. Makes it frappy. The oil we use doesn't really taste coconutty. I suppose if your oil tastes strong you may notice it. We put a teaaspoon of butter in our coffee too with the coconut oil yummy!

Actually the coconut oil I have doesn't taste coconutty are we sure that is a word. lol I think you went to far though I don't think I'll try butter in my coffee I'll keep that for potatoes and bread. Do you buy your oil from a co op?

Is the bumble a bad one? I've got to do my hen tomorrow and boy does she not like me right now.

Butter in coffee - i promise it's good! Think butter-nut toffee :love We buy our coconut oil from Tropical Traditions; we get five-gallon buckets of the "affordable coconut oil" they have; it's the same quakity as their other stuff just doen't go through all the expensive certification processes. And we always wait for them to do a free shipping offer.

Her bumble doesn't look too bad and there's no swelling, so I am hoping this one goes away fast. This picutre doesn't help at all so I don't know why I'm posting it - you can't tell how droopy her chest is until she leans down, but... there she is.

Your poor henny. If only they knew we are doing it all out of love and care.

I will try butter in my coffee. Sounds yum! I am making an effort to expand my tastes so that I can make do when necessary.

That's how I discovered the yumminess of coconut oil in coffee. I was at a friend's house. She cannot eat anything bovine (cow), including milk or butter. She has soy cream. I try to avoid soy. But she did have some coconut oil. That was excellent!

Often I tap off a little cream from the milk. When I run out of that I switch to coconut oil, or sometimes open a can of whole coconut milk.

And maple syrup in coffee is also yum.

She looks pretty normal in this pic by quikaty, sorry but that just struck me funny.. any way giving a little coconut oil will help break loose any thing in her crop that maybe not emptying good. like greasing her up so things pass easier. She looks good though .

Amiga you may be on to something by quakity !! I will try a little butter in my coffee tomorrow along with some coconut oil too. I put organic molasses in my smoothie in the mornings for the potassium and gosh does it make it taste good. do not use soy either.
