Yeah, it still feels hard under where the scab was. I really dont wanna cut her open cus i have zero experience with that and she’s kicking so much to get back to her nest, i’m afraid of really hurting her.

The skin where her scab was looks like it’s healing shut. It doesnt look like she’s gonna grow another scab so I’m thinking i’m gonna have to cut her open but not sure how. Are broody ducks more obsessed with getting back to their nest or are mama ducks more obsessed with getting to their ducklings? Just wondering if she’s gonna calm down in a few days or get more difficult.
