I have a duck (drake) with bumblefoot. Apparently it's been there for a while but we only discovered it a few days ago. We've tried picking at the black part but can't tell if we're doing more harm than good.
To this point we've been soaking him daily for about an hour in an epsom salt bath. That seems to be softening the black spot but it's not doing much else. And yesterday, after the bath as I was drying his feet to bandage them, one of his feet started bleeding.
On top of that, he also has a prolapsed penis. We've been relying on the epsom salt bath and neosporin on that as well with little visible improvement.
Do y'all have any suggestions?
