Thank you to everyone on this forum that has contributed helpful info on so many different posts with advice on how to handle bumblefoot.
Especially found helpful: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/how-to-correctly-wrap-a-chickens-foot.77028/ and https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...our-chickens-with-surgery-graphic-pics.47705/

One of my girls had bumbles on both feet, I suspect she stepped on a briar or locust branch and got stuck with the thorns. I caught them fairly early. She wasn't limping and the feet weren't swollen yet -thankfully. She is now on the mend and looking good so far. Once she's more healed I'm going to try those corn pads that I've seen several people post about. Rubbing them with coconut oil after soaking in the epsom salts really softened them up and the scab came off pretty easily with tweezers, only one had a small core, the other just some puss and wasn't nearly as bad as the other. She was a real trooper, let me hold her and do the work without help. Held her kind of like a baby on my lap with her head propped up a little in the crook of my elbow and she only fussed once when I first put her feet in to soak.

I just wanted to post to thank everyone who have contributed to all the great info on this forum to help others with problems like this and other issues. It's great to have a resource like this available.
