So today I went out and collected my eggs earlier and thought I had who laid what. Then I saw a couple more in the nest box on my camera. My OE went in, she lays dark brown eggs. My buttercup went in for a bit, I didn't think she had laid yet. And my EE that lays a greenish/teal egg. They were all in the same box. Well one of my older girls chased the EE out so I collected the eggs and I had one from the OE and a light tan egg.... I watched back and noone else was in the box.
Here is a pic of today's eggs. The one in question is the one above the dark brown one. The other tan ones are my 2 blue rocks, my Cochin, and my 2 Faverolles.
Does anyone have a buttercup that lays light tan? I was waiting for white eggs from my 2.
