I've had enough of the clean up messes from the dead or dying plants. The only thing I love are the broad leaved plants, they seem to do well and the moss balls! So I will yank out all the dead and dying plants and get some faux plants. I would avoid those hard plastic ones and stick with something like silk feeling plants even they may be a bit pricey but less maintaince.

Crypts are good low light plants. i got 2 little pots of them and broke off all the baby plants from the little plants and have 8 plants from the lil pots, and one has send off a runner.
they do "Melt" sometimes when first put into a tank, but usually grow back.
Years keeping fish: Ever since I was a child. My dad has always had aquariums.
A few species you have kept: Almost everything in Freshwater, except some of the brackish water fishes. Have kept many different predator salt water fish. Now focusing on reef species.
Favorite Species: Wrasses
How many tanks do you currently have: 2
Do you have other creatures besides fish? Yes, shrimp, inverts, LPS, soft coral, anemones, snails, just about anything you'd have in a CUC.
Any Advice for people new to fish keeping? NEVER TEAR DOWN A TANK TO 'CLEAN IT'. DO PARTIAL WATER CHANGES!
I love the photos of salt water fishes however the maintaince would be much more expensive! Alot of people around here that used to have salt water aquariums got out of them because of the high $$$$$$. Hubby wants a lionfish but he decided against it because of our 7 yr old daughter that is so curious.
