I'm with you! I have had to break so many broodies, I believe I am now an expert! Started out with one Dixie Rainbow. Then next thing I knew, I had 3 Amberlinks all broody:th. I wouldn't have minded, but it was almost JULY! I don't need chicks now, I got all I needed by May.:D
 
Ya know, I will probably have to do that next year. I just didn't have the heart to do it this year.

The good thing about it is I'm building up my flocks, and they are raising the babies! Haven't had a chick inside for several weeks now!
 
Well if you've got the space, the time, and the cash for increasing amounts of feed, no problem! Plus, you need new subjects for your photo shoots.

I'm not sure exactly how old these are. I bought some from a friend that were already laying this last week since we ended up with a bunch of roosters. How old are they usually when they start wanting to be Brody?
